Opportunities for making schools more climate-friendly abound, from improving energy efficiency, reducing waste, recycling more, and encouraging your fellow students and teachers to drive less, and walk, bike or bus more.

Do a school energy audit.
Meet with your Resource Conservation Manager if you have one, or the facilities manager to conduct an energy audit of your school. This will help identify potential areas for improvement.
